2011 Projects

Kakufukai

F&A is assisting the Social Welfare Corporation "Kakufukai", established in 1962 in Tokyo, Japan. Its mission is to provide care for children seriously disabled either by accident, brain damage or incurable diseases.

Dr. Sachiko Goto presently heads this Corporation (parent organization of one hospital and two institutions located in the western part of Tokyo).

By bridging this corporation to similar Canadian ones, "Kakufukai" hopes to learn from Canadian methods of providing care and coping with this universally challenging area. To that end, F&A will organize representative group meetings from Japan to participate in Canadian meetings in 2012.

C2 Initiative: Canada / China Workshops

F&A Events in collaboration with Dr. James Ma, Ph.D., President of the Board of Trade and Industry Canada-China, are organizing these workshops in order to foster exchange of medical knowledge, create bridges and promote collaboration between Canada and China.
